Job Title:  Clinical Medical Officer

Overview

The City of Harare is seeking a qualified Clinical Medical Officer to join their team on a contractual basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients and employees within the Fire and Ambulance Services.

This role involves performing medical assessments, developing health policies, supervising medical staff, and maintaining accurate medical records.


Key Result Areas

Perform comprehensive medical assessments and provide appropriate care.

Develop and implement health policies to improve service delivery.

Train and supervise medical staff to ensure high standards of medical practice.

Maintain meticulous medical records and reports in compliance with organizational standards.


Qualifications

Medical Degree from a recognized university.

Registration with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience

Experience in emergency medical practice is an added advantage.


Desired Competencies

Strong communication skills.

Ability to handle pressure effectively.
