Overview


The City of Harare is looking for a qualified Clinical Medical Officer to join its team on a contractual basis.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering medical care to both patients and employees within the Fire and Ambulance Services.

This position involves conducting medical evaluations, formulating health policies, overseeing medical personnel, and keeping accurate medical documentation.


Key Result Areas

Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide suitable care.

Design and execute health policies to enhance service delivery.

Educate and oversee medical staff to uphold high standards of medical practice.

Ensure precise maintenance of medical records and reports in accordance with organizational regulations.


Qualifications

Possession of a Medical Degree from an accredited university.

Registration with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.

At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role.


Experience

Background in emergency medical practice is beneficial.


Desired Competencies

Excellent communication abilities.

Capability to manage pressure efficiently.
