Job Title : CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

Principal Accountabilities

- Develops and implements comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect hotel guests, staff, and property.

- Conducts regular security risk assessments and recommends improvements to minimize threats.

- Oversees the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of CCTV and alarm systems.

- Investigates security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities and take corrective action.

- Maintains detailed security logs and incident reports for management review.

- Develops emergency response and evacuation plans in case of fire, medical emergencies, or other crises.

- Ensure that hotel entrances, exits, and public areas are properly secured.

- Trains and sensitizes hotel employees on security protocols, threat detection, and emergency response.

- Recruits, trains, and supervises security personnel, ensuring high performance and discipline.

- Conducts regular security drills and refresher training sessions for security teams.

- Implements anti-theft and loss prevention measures for guest valuables, hotel assets, and inventory.

- Monitors restricted access areas such as storage rooms, executive offices, and back-of-house areas.

- Ensures compliance with all government security regulations, fire safety laws, and industry standards.

- Liaises with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency medical services as needed.


Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7-10 years in security management, with at least 3 years in a senior security role within a hospitality or corporate environment.

- Knowledge of security technology, surveillance systems, and access control.

- Must be physically fit and capable of responding quickly in emergencies.
