Overview:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above position in the Chaplaincy Department at Head Office. The incumbent will report to the Chaplain General.


Duties (Responsibilities)

To provide Chaplain and counselling services to Authority staff.

To be spiritual resource to staff members and assist them in their growth or in dealing with their bereavement, grief and loss

To document employees, religious/spiritual needs and resources,

To provide, when invited, direct spiritual counsel, prayer and sacraments to employees,

To be available to officiate at funeral services for staff,

To provide literature and spiritual resources that may be of assistance to sick employees and their families,

To provide a constant reminder to employees that beyond the physical and emotional support we give our staff desire to have spiritual resources,


Qualifications

Diploma in pastoral studies/Theology or related field. Degree is an added advantage,


Experience, Special skills and Personality Required: At least one year working experience,


Good communication skills,

Computer literacy.
