Job Title: Investigations Officer

Key Responsibilities:


Investigations:

    - Investigate incidents of misconduct by internal and external members

    - Gather evidence, liaise with law enforcement, and analyze sector-wide crime trends

    - Compile investigation reports and progress updates


Collaboration:

    - Participate in monthly inter-bank security meetings

    - Collaborate with other agencies on crime trends


Security Awareness:

    - Carry out security awareness programs among staff members


Administration:

    - Receive, record, and file offense details in relevant registers and databases

    - Attend court hearings and coordinate with police when necessary


Requirements:


Education:

    - Degree/Diploma in Risk Management, Criminology, Police and Security Studies, Accounting, Auditing, Loss Control & Security


Professional Certifications:

    - Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, or Forensic Auditing (added advantage)


Experience:

    - At least 5 years of experience, with 3 years in the financial services sector


Skills:

    - Strong analytical skills

    - Ability to extract relevant evidence and carry out interrogations and interviews

    - Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)

    - Clean class 4 driver's license
