 Job Vacancy: Procurement Officer

 Job Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Procurement Officer to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with developing and executing procurement plans, managing procurement activities, and ensuring adherence to regulations.


 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Development and execution of the Board's procurement strategy

- Acquiring goods and services for the Council in accordance with procurement laws

- Supervising the procurement activities

- Coordinating with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe

- Drafting and managing tender documents and reports

- Offering guidance to the Accounting Officer regarding all procurement matters

- Carrying out additional duties as directed by the Board Secretary



 Requirements and Qualifications:

- A degree in Purchasing and Supply or a related field

- Active membership in a recognized professional organization (e.g. CIPS)

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

- Must be at least 30 years of age

- A valid Class 4 driver's license

- No criminal history (please attach a police clearance certificate)
