Position : Programs & Project Officer

The Projects Officer is responsible for the successful planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of TNHZT's projects aimed at promoting the rights, well-being, and inclusion of persons with albinism and other vulnerable groups.


 Key Responsibilities:


Program Development and Implementation:

    - Develop and implement public health programs with clear goals, objectives, and strategies

    - Create evaluation frameworks to track program progress


Community Engagement:

    - Work closely with communities to understand their needs and build trust

    - Ensure programs are culturally appropriate and relevant


Collaboration and Resource Management:

    - Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to maximize impact

    - Ensure efficient and effective use of program resources


Reporting and Capacity Building:

    - Prepare regular reports on program activities and outcomes

    - Train and mentor program staff and community health workers


Requirements:


Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field


Experience:

    - Proven experience in program management within the NGO sector, focusing on public health


Technical Skills:

    - Proficiency in public health principles, program planning, monitoring, and evaluation

    - Data management skills


Interpersonal Skills:

    - Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
