Job Title: Diesel Plant Fitter

Location: Ngezi Mine

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct maintenance and servicing on customer machinery to meet required standards.  

- Ensure equipment availability, customer satisfaction, and effectiveness of SHEQ.  

- Service client equipment at Ngezi Mine.  

- Diagnose hydraulic circuits and mechanical systems.  

- Adhere to OEM standards and repair protocols.  

- Prepare reports and utilize software tools such as Excel.

Qualifications:  

    - Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting Class 1 or Millwright Class 1.  

    - Completed an apprenticeship as a Diesel Plant Fitter or Millwright.  


Experience: 

    - 2-4 years of experience in the mining sector.  


Skills:  

    - Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer-centric mindset.  

    - Capability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.  

    - Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.  

    - Valid physical and medical certificate to work in an underground mining setting.  

    - Coaching and mentoring abilities for artisans or technicians.  


Competencies:

    - Demonstrated expertise as an Earthmoving and trackless Mining Equipment Technician/Artisan.
