Introduction  

We are inviting applications from qualified individuals to fill the role of Housekeeping Supervisor. The successful candidates will work at Rainbow Towers Hotel and ICC in Harare.  


Reporting  

This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper.  


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Oversee and coordinate the daily tasks of the housekeeping team.  

Evaluate guest rooms, public areas, and staff areas to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation.  

Train, guide, and inspire housekeeping personnel to maintain 5-star standards.  

Manage the inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and overall stock control.  

Promptly report and follow up on maintenance concerns.  

Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.  

Collaborate with the Front Office and Engineering departments for efficient operations.  

Address guest requests, feedback, and complaints in a professional and effective manner.  


Person Specification & Attributes  

A minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury or 5-star hotel is required.  

A Degree or Higher National Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality is necessary.  

Prior supervisory experience is crucial.  

Possess strong leadership and team management capabilities.  

Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.  

Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.  

Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.  

Familiarity with housekeeping software or hotel property management systems is a plus.
