What You’ll Be Doing

This position focuses on comprehensive learning enablement. You will evaluate, design, deliver, and assess impactful learning programs that empower our teams to excel—whether they are newcomers to Mukuru or experienced staff aiming to enhance their skills.


You’ll lead learning initiatives that:

- Create onboarding experiences that impress

- Effectively address performance gaps

- Enhance both soft and technical skills across teams

- Encourage succession planning and talent development

- Align with the strategic People roadmap and business objectives


Key Responsibilities

- Perform training needs and skills gap analyses, converting insights into actionable learning programs.

- Design and implement learning solutions (in-person, digital, or blended) customized for various roles and departments.

- Take charge of the onboarding and reboarding experience for both new and existing employees, ensuring their success.

- Conduct engaging sessions—covering areas such as customer service, soft skills, product training, and more— with confidence and enthusiasm.

- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, KPIs, and ROI metrics, consistently refining based on feedback.

- Keep accurate records of training, reporting, and administration for compliance and tracking needs.

- Collaborate with managers, stakeholders, and the SDF to aid skills development funding and BBBEE scorecard contributions.

- Be innovative! Stay updated on industry trends and bring new ideas to keep our learning culture adaptable and prepared for the future.

- Promote the use of L&D tools and systems, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth learning operations.


What You Bring

- A minimum of Grade 12 and a recognized qualification in L&D, OD-ETDP, or a related field (essential)

- Train-the-Trainer accreditation and experience in delivering customer service programs (essential)

- 1–2 years of experience in training delivery, L&D administration, and program design

- Familiarity with the financial services sector (advantageous)

- Strong understanding of assessment design, ROI analysis, and L&D compliance
