Petra College is inviting applications for the role of Head of Petra College Junior, a strategic and hands-on leadership position responsible for the daily operations of the Junior College. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Executive Team and Board to steer the continued growth and success of the school.  


 About Petra College Junior:

Petra College Junior provides a supportive and inclusive Christian setting for students from ECD to Grade 7, where they are encouraged, supported, and motivated to reach both personal and academic excellence.  


 Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of the Junior College  

- Maintain high standards in teaching, learning, pastoral care, and Christian principles

Requirements:

- Actively participate in a local church and have a strong passion for Christian education and values  

- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with a minimum of five years’ leadership experience, preferably in a similar environment  

- Possess strategic and management capabilities, demonstrating a proven track record in leading teams, enhancing standards, and innovating in educational practices  

- Exhibit effective communication and trust-building abilities with students, staff, parents, and the broader community  

- Be child-centered, aspirational, and well-rounded, with a balanced appreciation for both academic and sporting pursuits
