Overview 

CBZ Bank invites applications for an exciting and challenging opportunity for the role of Customer Service Teller. This position entails collaborating with a team of enthusiastic and dedicated professionals focused on elevating retail banking.


Responsibilities:  

- Accurately and promptly process cash deposits and withdrawals.  

- Ensure all money transfer transactions are handled in a timely manner.  

- Assist clients with account openings and respond to account-related inquiries.  

- Accurately record all customer information during the account opening process.  

- Conduct transactions within established limits and guidelines.  

- Prevent instances of fraud, losses, and shortages by strictly adhering to procedures.  

- Manage cash holdings within specified guidelines.  

- Follow the bank’s service standards diligently.  

- Record cash transactions according to established operating procedures and policies.  

- Promote the bank’s offerings and reach sales targets.  

- Recover fees as outlined in the Pricing handbook.  

- Ensure efficient use of resources to control costs.  

- Meet defined transaction targets.


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:  

- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Business Studies, or a similar field from a recognized institution.  

- Currently pursuing a professional qualification such as IOBZ or equivalent.  

- A minimum of 2 years of banking experience or equivalent experience dealing with high-volume transactions.  

- Comprehensive understanding of banking operations.  

- Experience with the FlexCube core banking system is preferred.  

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
