1 :Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in Animal Health 

Qualifications & Experience:

- Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related field

- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, Veterinary Anatomy, Veterinary Biochemistry, Veterinary Physiology, Animal Health and Production, or a related field

- PhD in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related field (an added advantage)

- Ability to teach modules such as Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Health and Welfare, Veterinary Diagnostics, and Epidemiology

- Teaching experience at the tertiary level and a record of scholarly contributions (added advantages)


 Responsibilities:

- Contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and innovation

- Participate in community outreach activities and animal production income-generating projects

- Supervise student research projects and invigilate examinations

- Undertake other duties as assigned by the department or university administration.



2 : Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in Animal Production

- Master's degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, or a related field

- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Livestock Production, or a related field

- PhD in Animal Science, Dairy Science, or a related field (an added advantage)

- Ability to teach modules such as Dairy Production, Animal Products Processing, and Beef, Sheep, and Goat Production

- Teaching experience at the tertiary level and a record of scholarly contributions (added advantages)

- Practical experience in dairy production, beef cattle production, or small ruminant production (an added advantage)


 Responsibilities:

- Contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and innovation

- Participate in community outreach activities and agriculture income-generating projects

- Supervise student projects and invigilate examinations

- Undertake other duties as assigned by the department or university administration.



3 : Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in Biostatistics

 Qualifications & Experience:

- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Biometry, Statistics, or a related field

- Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Animal Science, or a related field

- PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field (an added advantage)

- Ability to teach modules such as Introduction to Statistics, Statistical Methods, and Research Methods

- Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, STATA, SPSS, GENSTAT)

- Experience in designing experiments and handling animal experimental data (an added advantage)

- Teaching experience at the tertiary level and a record of scholarly contributions (added advantages)


 Responsibilities:

- Contribute to teaching, research, and curriculum development

- Provide statistical consulting services to students and staff

- Participate in community outreach and extension activities

- Supervise student research projects

- Invigilate examinations and perform other duties as assigned.



4 .Teaching Assistant – Animal Health

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field (2.1 classification or higher)

- Alternatively, a Diploma in Animal Production and Health or Veterinary Sciences with a relevant BSc (Hons) degree

- 30 years or below at the time of application

- Expected to enroll in a Master's degree program within the first year of employment


 Responsibilities:

- Assist lecturers with tutorials

- Mark assignments and tests

- Support student research projects

- Participate in community outreach and university projects

- Invigilate exams and perform other duties as assigned.



5 : Teaching Assistant in Geomatics and Surveying

Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) Degree or equivalent in Geomatics and Surveying or a related field (2.1 classification or higher)

- Graduated within the last 2 years

- 30 years old or below

- Expected to enroll in a relevant Master's Degree program within the first year of employment


 Responsibilities:

- Assist lecturers in delivering tutorials

- Participate in community outreach activities

- Participate in university income-generating projects

- Perform other duties as assigned.



6 : Lecturer/Senston Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in Surveying or Geomatics and Surveying (4 Posts)

Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) Degree or equivalent in Surveying or Geomatics and Surveying (2.1 classification or higher)

- Master's Degree in Surveying or Geomatics and Surveying

- PhD in Surveying or Geomatics and Surveying (an added advantage)

- Teaching experience at a tertiary level (an added advantage)


Responsibilities:

- Teach modules such as Engineering Survey, Land Law, Hydrographic Surveying, Surveying CAD, and others

- Contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and innovation


7 : Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor in Mining Engineering (3 Posts)


Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) Degree or equivalent in Mining Engineering (2.1 classification or higher)

- Master's Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent

- PhD in Mining Engineering (an added advantage)

- Teaching experience at a tertiary level (an added advantage)


Responsibilities:

- Teach modules in the Department of Mining Engineering

- Engage in research and innovation activities leading to tangible products and services

- Contribute to the academic and professional development of students and the department.

- Participate in community outreach activities and university income-generating projects

- Supervise student research projects and participate in examination invigilation.



8 : Assistant Registrar (2 Posts)

Qualifications & Experience:

- 5 O' Level passes, including English Language

- First degree in Social Science from a recognized institution

- Master's Degree in Social Science from a recognized institution

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a university setting


 Responsibilities:

- Student selection, admission, and registration

- Monitoring degree regulations and examinations

- Assisting with graduation ceremonies and preparation of statistical information

- Coordinating faculty planning and budgetary processes

- Preparing draft advertisements and applications for grants

- Ensuring compliance with university decisions and policies

- Preparing and publishing faculty brochures and publicity materials

- Supervising faculty staff and services

- Providing secretariat services to faculty and university committees.


9 : Administrative Assistant (1 Post)

 Qualifications & Experience:

- 5 O' Level passes, including English Language

- First degree from a reputable institution, preferably in Records and Archives Management or Business Management

- At least 1 year of post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in a university setting

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, computer literacy, and good organizational skills


 Responsibilities:

- Assist with student selection, admission, and registration

- Maintain student records

- Assist with drafting teaching timetables

- Provide secretariat services to faculty committees and examination boards

- Assist with preparation of faculty degree programs and graduation ceremonies

- Flexible to work in any section of the university.
